Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or similar field
- 3+ years experience conducting original research
- Strong statistics and mathematics background
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Machine learning
- Algorithms
- Information retrieval
- Data mining and statistical analysis
- Optimization
- Auctions, game theory
- Natural language processing
Desirable Experience:
- Strong programming skills (professional development experience is a big plus)
- Experience with Python, SQL, Unix/Linux
- Experience working with/for tier-1 search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask)
