Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, your areas of focus would include:
- Tools for managing all aspects of complex SEM campaigns, including optimization of bids in search engine advertising auctions.
- Systems for automating and monitoring internal workflow of campaign management activities.
- Support for on-line analysis of campaign performance, e.g. tools for efficiently monitoring large data flows to detect important behavior, visualization of complex data sets, etc.
- Data mining support for analysis of new markets and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- BS or BA in Computer Science (advanced degree a big plus)
- 5+ years professional programming experience
- Coding fluency in at least two programming languages
- Experience with several (2+) of the following technical areas:
- Python
- Application-level network protocols, especially HTTP, SOCKS, SSL
- Web application development environments such as PHP, Drupal, Ruby on Rails, TurboGears, etc.
- Web services protocols such as SOAP
- Relational databases and SQL
- Unix/Linux software development (Mac OS X is a plus)
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working with/for tier-1 search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask)
